Positioning: Part IIOpportunity Taken People live, work, and travel throughout the world for one reason: opportunity. Some examples: Every morning when I get up, I walk outside to experience the stillness of the morning. It rejuvenates me and confirms my belief in the beauty of the day. It's an opportunity taken! Because my life setup is done right, I know I can treat myself to a glass of water and some fresh fruit. This sure beats cereal every morning. I like variety, and fruit on an empty stomach is invigorating and healthy. Eat healthy throughout the day. It's an opportunity taken! I check e-mail and take a quick look at the headlines to be in tune with the unexpected and what is happening in creation's largest team--the world. It's an opportunity taken! Teamwork is essential. See it as coordinating with each other. If people would coordinate more, there would be less confusion, more timeliness and more results. It's an opportunity taken! If teleconferences and meetings are scheduled, review your notes to be prepared so no time is wasted and make note of Spirit- Enhancing Actions to generate Spirit-Enhancing Results. It's an opportunity taken! If your state of being is tired, take a break to rejuvenate by taking a brisk walk, reading, running an errand, or some other activity. It's an opportunity taken! Send emails, make phone calls, and/or show your presence as needed. It's an opportunity taken! Appreciate the people you interact with through your body language and words. It's an opportunity taken! Do something new! Contact someone new via networking, research, a company, a service. Buy a gift for someone. It's an opportunity taken! Check in on a customer or family member. It's an opportunity taken! Give feedback and encouragement throughout a conversation or when reviewing work done. It acknowledges accomplishment in a small and important way, which promotes retention and stimulates. It's an opportunity taken! Since the world isn't perfect, be present in a coworker's or customer's time of need by being supportive. It's an opportunity taken! Exercise by playing a sport, going to the gym, playing with kids, doing yoga, walking, running, or riding a bike. It's an opportunity taken! Appreciate your firsts. Each day is filled with them. It's an opportunity taken! Walk outside and feel the stillness of the night. It's an opportunity taken! Relax to prepare for sleep. Sleep well and be excited about tomorrow's opportunities. It's an opportunity taken! Most importantly, create opportunities for others. It keeps life fun and enjoyable. It's an opportunity taken! Are you taking your opportunities daily?
