Employee Mindset
No one really wants to be tested on the job. Instead of being quick to degrade your boss, supervisor, teammate, or client in your mindset you might want to increase your influence by doing the following: Your influence will be greater and appreciated because you made them a more valuable boss by addressing their emotional needs using logical emotion.

1. At a company convention the CEO told the audience (all employees) recent employees, you, are not in our plans.
Non-boss reply: What do we need to do to be in your plans? Or, just dismiss the comment.

2. Do you want to be here? (in a one on one meeting)
Non-boss reply: Do you think I don't want to be here? or Why do you think I don't want to be here?

3. I'm going to fire you. (said by your "boss" outside your cube)
Non-boss reply: What for? or Why?

4. You don't like us. (to an employee who has been there for 3 months)
Non-boss reply: What makes you think so?

5. You're too good for us.
Non-boss reply: What makes you think so? or say, "never"

6. You f - - - - d up!
Non-boss reply: Why do you think so?

7. You're in trouble. (without telling why, giving help, assistance, and support to get your employee out of trouble)
Non-boss reply: What did I do?
