Several years ago, I bought a SUV. I was under the impression that not many people had the same model. Then, because of my increased awareness, I saw several of the same model being driven around town. When we increase our awareness, it's amazing what we learn.

My friend's daughter was in a dance competition. The contestants were girls and boys ages eight through seniors in high school. A random number of people were dancing each number. To increase my awareness of what I was watching, I read the program and asked my friend's wife some questions. I became aware of the meaning and difference between a line, a group, and a production. I grew that night by being aware and open to good learning. You can too!

The dance production my friend's daughter was in won overall platinum first place. Afterward, I got Carly (my friend's daughter) to give me a high-five. I asked her and her friend, Jordan, to dance in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency so I could get an upclose look. I got excited! They rejuvenated my evening to another New Best Level™. On the way to dinner with her parents, I told Carly, "You did wellyou won!" In her sassy tone, she told me, "That's what happens when Southern Strutt comes to town." It made my evening. I'm proud of her and her dance studio, Southern Strutt. She sure increased my awareness. Are you consciously aware of all that's new around you?
